Boston show and Boston's secret show photos

Hello all,

Finally! The Boston show photos are posted. Thank you all for your patience.

The last couple of days have been kind of a blur. These four shows in the last two days really made us work. It's been hard to keep up with getting things posted but I finally got it done.

So, the Boston crowd seemed very eager for this show. Once again, the venue sold out and the place was packed.

Once the guys got on stage they rocked the The Middle East club in Cambridge. I think the atmosphere and arrangement of the way this club is set up was the perfect combination of everything a band like Braid could ask for. Not to big, not to small. Intimate enough where everyone could really feel connected to each other. They played another great set. It still trips me up watching these guys go from zero to sixty in the blink of an eye, and still it doesn't stop there. They just keep bringing it.

After the show at the Middle East was done a tweet went out revealing that the band would be playing a secret show not to far away. Before we left the Middle East, we were informed that the venue we are off to was at capacity. Great news!

Once we got to the next venue the band set up there gear and then proceeded to kill it.

In my opinion, this may have been the best show during the tour. There is just something to be said about the DIY community and that environment. I love that there is no stage and people are right on top of the band. Absolutely amazing energy.

Holy cow this show was hot! seriously, not one person in the place left there dry. Everyone was covered from head to toe in sweat.

After the show was done, we hung out a bit with friends and then made our way back to the hotel, where I was able to eat a bag of Fritos, that being the only thing I ate since that awesome Whole Foods stop in Connecticut.

So, these Boston shows were the last stop on the East coast. Now we gear up for a Drive from Boston to Chicago. Todd and I will continue another couple hours to the North and head home to Milwaukee. Looking forward to being home for a day, then it's onward to the West coast. Can't wait.

Shout out to Aaron, good to see you.

California, we will see you soon!
